We’re continuing our journey into early Christian hagiographies with a second telling of the Seven Sleepers legend, this time with the dramatic flare of Ælfric’s Lives of Saints. This version of the tale comes with more fire and brimstone, but even less historical accuracy than the Baring-Gould’s translation.
