TW/CW – We discuss a transgender character being raped in this episode. While the discussion is fairly benign, please be aware that this is an important part of the narrative concerning Kaoru and this week’s Wonder Killer.

On the subject of Kaoru. Kaoru is a trans man because he says he is and we and Momoe believe him. This is not up for debate. We used he/him pronouns over they/them simply to reflect what seemed likely to be his wishes though he never explicitly makes it clear as Japanese can be much less pronoun heavy in practice.
