The Last Olympian, ch. 15 to 17

On this episode of Unwise Girls, we both kind of just need a hug and some hot chocolate as we hurtle towards the end of this book. On one hand, yeah, we get one of this series’ most effective pieces of storytelling so far, a course in exactly how to write a story that compels you right off an emotional cliff that also doubles as a pretty darn good bit of homoerotic tragedy; on the other hand, we have to deal with the Party Ponies again. So like, we’re kind of being pummeled on all ends, maybe give us a break for once?
